The Good, Bad and the Ugly time...
The Good:
Benjamin learned how to swim almost totally on his own this summer. Andrew's become (in my mind) an advanced swimmer. I truly think him staying under the water has actually helped his lung capacity. Thinking this will help him in soccer next season. The boys' school supplies are all purchased/gathered. Benjamin is eager to fill his huge backpack. It's bigger than him. Andrew was given an extra backpack in case his one from last school year wears out. Benjamin's came from my friend, Teri...whose daughter never used the new and expensive backpack. Sure it is light blue. But that is Benjamin favorite color and well, it will finally be put to use.
Jimmy's doing great. Seems the new place is finally working out. The checks and balances are all in place. New clothes, etc. Finally!
We have been to KY to see Rick's family over the 4th of July weekend. And the promise of two more vacations are coming. One is the first week of August in Ocean City MD. Going to need that in the worst way...reasons soon to be disclosed. The other mini vacation is for the Columbus Day weekemd to New Orleans and Mississippi to see my friend Jennifer and her family!
Rick...he is my rock and truly my knight in shining armor... <3
The Bad:
We got Andrew's sleep study results back--they showed nothing. While that is something to rejoice over, the child will never be the same I think. Most of the nights are better once he gets to sleep now (praise God). But he will not go to sleep unless one or both of us are upstairs with him, if even if we are in different rooms, which we are for the most part. So I don't know if he will ever be able to go to sleep overs or if I could ever host any ever again. At this point, I don't even mind. It feels good to sleep again. I just wish Andrew was not such a nervous guy. :-( Thanks to the accident from last Fall I suppose....Oh yeah, that brings me to the "Ugly"...
The Ugly:
Let's go in least upsetting order first. My cellultis, which had been gone for over a year now (and to be truthful I thought gone forever), has now come back in my left leg. So much for what I thought was that 7 year period eh? LOL Andrew was 1 the first time I got it at all. Oh well. At least I had an extra prescription of antibiotics on hand to take and that this bout is not nearly as bad in this leg as if it were to be in my right leg. :) I think I see the bug bite. But who knows, maybe that accident last year really got my left side more than I thought. I know my left hip never will be the same. Oh yes, more of the "super Ugly"...
Last night at 7:30 pm, a man knocked on my door and served me with papers. It was from the lawyer representing the guy who ran into the side of my VUE last fall, totalling it. Are you sitting? Of course you are---you are reading off the computer screen... :-P $250,000!!!! If my inusrance doesn't take care of this, I swear we WILL have to move to another state and restart our lives over. This would pretty much end life here for me if I had to owe that much. Please pray for me. I haven't really been able to eat or drink anything since last night. It was free pastry with beverage purchase at Starbucks today and I already threw up the pound cake...
