Wanted to give an update on Andrew. While some nights have gone so much better, there are still sleep problems. We have a sleep study scheduled at Children's Hospital for the night of June 3rd into the morning of June 4th. Not sure what miracle will come from this. But, at this rate, it cannot hurt things either. June will be a busy month. End of school stuff, that sleep study, soccer tournament, boys' physicals, Father's Day stuff at church and VBS....would have been nice to skip one of those on the list. By the time VBS is done, we will be too tired to even enjoy Kentucky, LOL. We go there to visit Rick's mom and whatever family there is left who wants to see us from July 2nd thru the 5th. Well at least I see them more than any family around here, other than Jimmy of course. Better than nothing.....
Benjamin's kindergarten celebration is on the 9th of June. Going to take him to one of the Bob Evans in Waldorf around 11:15-11:30 that day, meeting up with my friend Ronda. Don't think she's gotten to meet Benjamin. :-) I'm so very proud of him and him going to the advanced readers group now, without tears, now without bribes like prizes for not crying etc...and LIKING IT! They say he reads on a 2nd grade reading level. He's been breezing thru one of the Junie B, First Grader books and is eyeing another one in the house to start reading. It was a major breakthrough when Andrew did chapter books like this at all by the end of 1st grade. WOW!
And to be fair, Andrew, who was tearful over fractions for weeks I think now is mastering them. Good work boy! :-)))
I'm reading! And WAY TO GO BOYS!!!! THey both sound like they are doing great. I hope the sleep study tomorrow gives you all some answers.
