I feel safe in saying this now...

Andrew has been able to stay out of our room way more now.  Thinking in another year or less, we can introduce the idea of Rick and I not having to be upstairs at 9 pm when we expect Andrew to go lay down in his bed.  One day....baby steps.  I know this thing of Andrew staying in his room  now maybe permanently changed because of the "Ben test"...  We had a week to where Ben would fall asleep downstairs right after dinner two different nights.  By the time bedtime came, he would be awake, go upstairs and spend the next two hours wide awake.  Then HE (who knew???) would end up in our room, just because he couldn't sleep.  And next morning, HE would be the only little boy on the floor next to the bed sleeping.  Praise God!  I always kick myself after saying when we've had a week or two of Andrew not coming into our room, because it seems I jinx it and right after I say it, he is back.  It feels just...different, this time.

So soccer season I think may end soon. (LOL)   Tournament on the 13th...moved from the previous date set up of the 6th.  So great, it will be more hot and humid.  Way to go, WSC.   :-x

Tomorrow night are the travel team tryouts.  Andrew is just going for the sheer heck of it.  Sounds sad to say.  But he just wants to see "where" he is at, seeing if he is as good as his coach says he is.  Andrew would never give up Sunday upon Sunday in a row, which is what travel soccer is all about from what I understand. *eye roll*  Haven't heard yet about when the U8 RecPlus tryouts are.  Now...those, better be soon.  I have a 7 year old a little more serious minded about that.  Just Saturdays at this minor stage of the game and tri-county traveling only.  So, hopefully soon.  Registration for the regular rec soccer for the fall season ends July 11th.  Guess Andrew will do that.  Next season could be, in fact, more weird than this past one has been.  Kind of sad....I would have liked to see Rick coach again.  He did well with what he had to work with in all seriousness....VERY WELL.  ;-)

So after more than 2 months in battling pain (which has been more then excruciating the past 2 days), I will be seeing an orthopedic guy next Tuesday about my right heel.  My friend saw this same physician and he took care of her problem with shock therapy.  So, we shall see.  If you can walk pain-free at all, you are blessed my friends...
